Accelerated Online Online Teaching Degrees (2026)

Accelerated online online teaching programs shorten the calendar, not the curriculum. They use shorter terms and fewer breaks. Reading, analysis, and writing compress. Practica, internships, labs, and courses that run once a year do not. Most of the IPEDS completions in this CIP are master’s degrees. A standalone bachelor’s in online teaching is rare. If you need initial teacher licensure, start at the education silo and confirm your state’s rules; a professional master’s in online teaching will not issue a first license in most states.

This page is a decision guide, not a ranking. Compare bachelor’s and master’s options, then the careers page for the occupations this CIP actually reaches.
