Accelerated online intelligence studies programs shorten the calendar, not the curriculum. They use shorter terms and fewer breaks. Reading, analysis, and writing compress. Practica, internships, labs, and courses that run once a year do not. The Bureau of Labor Statistics does not publish an occupation called intelligence analyst. Most of that work is classified under detectives and criminal investigators (SOC 33-3021), management analysts, or information security analysts depending on the employer. Wage figures on this page are those proxy occupations, named as such.
This page is a decision guide, not a ranking. Compare bachelor’s and master’s options, then the careers page for the occupations this CIP actually reaches.
Data verified: September 7, 2026. Salary, employment, and tuition figures on this page are sourced from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (OEWS May 2025; Employment Projections 2024–2034) and the U.S. Department of Education College Scorecard (2023 cohort). The source agency and data year are cited inline with every statistic.
